I am just so happy with the voting turn out. It made me happy to see people while I was on the bus today lining up to vote. I love it!!!
Thanks Dream
Can any policy, however high minded, be moral if it leads to widespread corruption, imprisons so many, has so racist an effect, destroys our inner cities, wreaks havoc on misguided &
vulnerable individuals and brings death and destruction to foreign countries?
Thats awesome. Even if we aren't voting for the same candidate there is a profound sense of pride in civil action that makes us all feel bound together.
woot woot, freaking cool!!! We waited 8 years for this day, what's a few hours more!!

our polling location was in an elementary school a few blocks from our campus and they split up the dorm buildings by room - i went with a friend from another building, so we got split
up..
standing in the polling booth i almost had a heart attack. i just stood there for a really long time, not because i was nervous or anything, i was just way too excited to actually hit the
"Cast vote" button. but i did it. ran out into the hallway, saw my friend, and we both spontaneously started jumping up and down and shrieking about how excited we were. it was definitely the
most exciting thing i've ever done. i almost skipped all the way home. ear to ear smile for the rest of the day. even if barack doesn't win at least i know that i did everything i could to
make a difference. and i've never felt so happy and proud of anything.
now it's just this tedious wait! i have class tonight too, from 740-930, so i don't know how on earth my professor expects me to pay attention. my mind is going to be racing. i told my mom to
text message me updates as the votes come in. eek!!!
My sister did not vote. I texted her today to remind her yet again and she said she couldn't.. I asked why.. She said because the guy that she signed up with said he would 'call for her SS#
to complete the registration and never did'
WHA?????????
I told her where to go to register and she obviously did not listen. She registered with some whack job and says he was legit because 'he was in a building'
WTF!!? I hope that this kind of thing is not happening widespread.
I'm watching CNN and they're talking about how these ballots in Palm Beach had some type of design where they had to connect both arrows and that voters hadn't understood what they had to do
and probably did it wrong. How stupid can anybody be? I mean, if one does not understand, one should f*cking ask!
